What are great room ideas for a baby?
August 31st, 2009 | by admin |here are some ideas we had:
girl:
1) ballet (ballerina room)
2) princess
3) garden (a lot of flowers)
4) carnival (tents, pink cotton candy, lights)
boy:
1) baseball
2) campground (tent, birds, bear, trees)
3) musical (guitar, microphone, notes on the walls, one wall would have our favorite verse from our favorite song on it
4) beach (sailboat, lifeguard post, sand, ocean)
What do you think of these ideas?….What are some other ideas?
I like all of your ideas alot, just perhaps not the carnival theme. Like many…I have issues with clowns and all venues that facilitate them
.
I do have a great chair to pass along to you. It is beautiful and they have many different colors of slipcovers you can order. Better than the $800 Pottery Barn chair…and it is only $160!

My son’s room is Jungle/Safari. He loves his lions, elephants and Giraffes. The colors are Earth tone. Brick reds, Sage greens, Navy blue, yellows and rust oranges. I love it
This is his bedding and we have dark wood furniture.

I always loved a zoo themed room for babies. It’s unisex, growing up they can learn about animals, and a mural is always an option for a wall. There is so much that can be done with stuffed animals and prints too!

My husband and I are country folk, so we did our daughters room with a very femine farm theme! Her bedding is On The Farm by Brittney Danielle and she has lots of art on the wall, like pictures of pink cowgirls boots a pink barn and a pink tractor… She also has a John Deere Barbie displayed…
Depends on your taste and what you like!

I like disney themes. It’s great for either gender and you can find all sorts of neat things at any baby store.

Your ideas are great, but for more of an older child… 2-3 year old.
You can go with the ones you have listed but not in as much detail. If you plan on the same room for awhile, start with a few things and each year more. Babies don’t need a lot, but they do like color. So, the girl great one would be the garden of flowers, a boy, either the out doors would be nice. Do what you want to do. It’s our home and his room. Just enjoy that little boy. You don’t need fancy rooms to do that!!!

The picture doesn’t really do it justice, but it’s so pretty in person.
