I wonder if atheists are always here asking questions because they are just restless. The spirit naturally cries for it's Creator, if it's deprived it's restless, and the person doesn't even know why until they feed their spirit.

If God is worried that his message isn't getting around enough, why not send down another messenger or two? It couldn't hurt. Seems like a pretty lazy diety that makes his devout followers recruit for him.

One day, judgement day will come…either hell or heaven will be the destination of us all. It’s thru COMPASSION for others to want to spread the Good News of the Gospel so none of us see the place called HELL.

Its unfortunate for those who really force religion down peoples’ throats..cuz thats not how it should be done. Jesus will return once the Gospel has been heard from all the 4 corners of the earth. Hear it and give it a chance before you just reject it….

The God Yahweh of the Bible gave His people the choice of either following His new Mosaic Laws or He would kill them. After killing many the rest learned the hard way to follow them. This is how these laws lasted the test of time. The United States of America's judicial laws have been modeled from the beginning of this country after these same Mosaic Laws of the God Yahweh. That is why this country's way of thinking has mimicked Yahweh's when it comes to subjects like homosexuality and atheism. The fear of God is still instilled in most people of this country till this day of what He will do to us if we don't follow His laws. Which should still be in order for this country to remain the greatest country in the world for a human to live. Because the day this country turns its' back on Yahweh will be the day Yahweh allows this country to fall. Wake up people of America to this fact and let us keep this from happening, which it will.

Some one can not make you believe. They can not shove people to think that their religion is real. They can tell you about their religion. They can tell you the dark paths you will take if you don’t believe in their religion. They can tell you about their religion but that is it.
Everyone does this to please their god or beliefs. I don’t understand why you don’t have a religion. I know it’s one of the biggest issues in most country’s. It has issues with schools. But do you want to live life that way. Thinking when you die you die.
Lot’s of people believe that God Jehovah is real. You know why? They have faith why can’t you have faith in a religion? So what if religions are banned from others as long as you believe and trust in it.
I would not just say one day oh I’m gonna be a Muslim because everyone eles is. Believe in something that means to you.

Only religion, or beliefs in general? Where do you draw the line?

Isn’t there an implicit world view within your question? A belief, right or wrong that people shouldn’t ’shove’ beliefs.

How are these people ’shoving’? I understand some of your examples though.

One problem with anyone’s particular agenda, and we all, ALL, have them, is the need to force the others.

Take what some would have us believe of Islam (true or not) . The tactics these individual use are, ‘definitive’.

If what they profess is so true, and so great, then why do they have to kill me to get me to believe it?

Would God want this type of ‘belief’ ? It isn’t belief at all.

Ditto the ‘no offense’.

im a christain but hispanic and me and my family don’t belive in the devil because he’s evil but just to tell you that evrybody says that christains have were stupied and i hate to say this but you don’t have to belive me but it says in the bible that you do have to belive in god because he’s are father and he made this world i mean im only a christian because they baptised me but if you dont belive me go to google and put ( do people have to belive in god to go to heaven )

I think people try to convert people because they care about other people in general. So the point is saving people for the sake of God and that these newly saved people will get to have a real relationship with God and have a better life here and then go on to heaven. That is the whole thing in a nutshell. At least this is the reasoning in Christianity. Now when people try to force their religion down anothers throat, I believe these are strange people that do not understand God at all. Because this only pushes people away from God in the end.

In the case of Christians. Their belief is that only those who believe in Jesus Christ make to heaven. Furthermore, Jesus told his disiples to go forth and spread the good news. So modern Christians in their love for man kind want to save you. Also they feel that Jesus has commanded them to do so.

I believe in God but I do not support any religion in any way. I grow so tired of religions hating other religions through violence and propaganda. One religion always thinks they are better than the next religion. I cannot stand the idea of someone trying to convince me to go to their church or join their religion because it is the right way to the Lord.
I don’t push my interests off on others and I don’t understand why these door to door idiots cannot get that into their heads either. How would they like it if I started trying to shove my interest in firearms on them? Or my mechanical interests? They’d end up walking off and ignoring me. Many of them don’t care what you have to say unless it benefits them and their church.
I believe that when they go door to door they really aren’t interested in saving anyone, just getting more members and revenues for their church.
There is a big difference between faith and religion. I have faith only and no room for religion at all.
