Getting Married!  Whooooo!!!

He is not very smooth, but I love him!….hah hah?

Sooo, I asked a previous question about my bf & I,
(he brought up marriage out of the blue about a wk ago. Saying he wanted to marry me & couldnt imagine his life w/o me, just being very sweet)

Well, last night he says to me -completely out of the blue- What size is that ring I got you? (a promise ring he gave me 2xmas’s ago) So I tell him & he says ‘oh, ok well…what about your other rings?" so I tell him all the sizes, then he asks to see the promise ring he had given me, puts it on his pinky, & says he wants going to keep in for a few days (didnt keep it-I have it on). I went along because Im assuming (hoping-but trying not to get my hopes up) That he wanted to be sure of the size and take it with him to look at/size engagement rings. We are going camping for our 2yr annivrsary this coming week, out by the ocean.

So..he wasnt very smooth about it, but Im thinking the only reason he would want it would be if he was getting me another ring?? What do ya’ll think
actually- he started by saying ‘where are your rings? Do you take them off at night?" and I said…no I never take them off. So i guess he did try a slightly more discreet method, hehe
Oh- I guess I didnt mention, I wear the promise ring on my wedding finger. I mean…why would he want to know the size for any other reason? I can’t think of any…lol, or maybe Im just too excited and very hopefull

Sounds like you got a proposal coming up – actually it’s very nice of him to give you the heads up. It gives you the luxury of seriously thinking it through before he’s on his knee.
