But seriously, this is not wise or safe ... If you really are against parents being involved ... then how about talking to a friend that is around 30 or so, perhaps a married couple in their early 30's, to go along with you? I know you all think you are plenty old and mature enough to do this alone, and maybe you are, but there are many many things that can and do happen unexpectedly ... by nature, or other people, or dissension within the group itself, that are best handled and anticipated by people with more life experience. I am thinking your parents probably won't like the idea of you being out alone either ... but maybe they would go for a third party chaperone, like a couple from church, or a scoutmaster, or some trusted friends.
