January 27th, 2010 | by admin |So you want to play the blues. Well before you start any blues guitar lesson, in fact before you even pick up that guitar, you should have a few things very clear in your mind. What things am I talking about? Your goals!
Knowing what you want to accomplish during your current blues guitar lesson and what you want to accomplish 6 months from that lesson, for example, are very important to have in mind. By doing so, you are more able to measure your progress. You are able to correct your course when you need to.
Play guitar, while fun, can often become extremely frustrating. Far too many potential players end up giving up the instrument, because they are unable to get passed the inevitable periods of frustration that come with playing the guitar.
By keeping your goals in mind, you will be one step closer to achieving them and take a giant step away from the direction of giving up, before you’ve really gotten started.
