Blues Guitar Lesson Motivation Tips

February 11th, 2010 | by admin |

One of the hardest things to do, when learning guitar, is to stay motivated. Once the novelty of playing guitar wears off, many people find it hard to stay motivated. This can often occur when the pain of learning the instrument begins to set in. Essentially, I’m referring to the soreness in your fingertips and the muscle fatigue that can occur when trying to hold down a chord.

At this time it is important to remember why you started playing guitar in the first place. Have your goals at the forefront of your mind and preferably written down where you can see them every day. Put yourself in the correct mindset for practice, by taking a few minutes to refocus on those goals. Just by doing these simple exercises, you will be more likely to keep going and get beyond this troublesome learning period.
